Wideblue supports new UKTI investment forum

21 October 2010

Wideblue is supporting IBIZ Invest, a new investment forum that gives an exciting array of UK businesses the chance to pitch in front of invited potential investors on 9 March 2011. Jim Hall, Wideblue CEO, is a member of a ten-strong investor/advisor panel of distinguished representatives from around the UK.

The panel will select the companies to pitch at IBIZ Invest. They will be looking for investment-ready businesses with compelling propositions based around disruptive ideas or technology. Companies at all stages of development across biotech, pharmaceutical, medical technology and healthcare IT are invited to apply, but only the best will be given the opportunity to pitch.

IBIZ Invest is a key component of IBIZ, a UK Trade & Investment led event designed to help UK biotech and medtech businesses achieve international success. Commenting on his involvement in IBIZ Invest, Jim Hall said: “I am delighted to represent the combined technology, business and investment expertise of Wideblue and Kelvin Capital on the panel and look forward to providing input and support to all the applicants.”
